Oh my, it’s December already! And I haven’t got my One Design model completed for the 2022-23 Indoor Flying Season. And…and there’s TWO of them to build too!
Time flies while we’re having fun, eh?
So, our stealthy webmaster finally updated the One Design page on the Stealth Sqdn site. Check it out. You’ll find the all important Rules here in case you lost the original emails these were sent out with. Use the Contact Us form to find out how you can get a short kit or plan for the Potez dimer. We’ve got some great Bird Dog docs to share with you as well. Color schemes, 3 views, detailed pics and more from the Bird Dog Squadron Signal publication. Just ask via the Contact Us form and we’ll shoot the good stuff off to you.
Hopefully some of the pics on the One Design page will get your building juices flowing. And yes, please send us pics of your in progress or completed One Design builds to admin@stealthsquadron-fac49.com. We’ll get them up on this site for all to see.
See you in the gym skyster!
It’s going to be a long, cold winter. The time to build and fly indoors is fast approaching.
But the forecast is for blue skies and warm temps this coming Saturday November 5 for our season closer meet at Woodsom Farm in Amesbury, MA.
Mark your calendar now. Your fellow Stealth Squadroneers will be out at the field flying stick & tissue model airplanes. Make a point to join in on the fun.

As of mid-week, the Hay Field at Woodsum was un-mowed. With waist high hay, model retrieval will be very difficult and models will likely be lost.
The brass hats have decided to cancel the Free Flight Model Airplane Contest and replace it with a Fun Fly on one of the smaller mowed fields at Woodsom.
We will run a morning Fun Fly and with some luck run the 10% ML events and maybe Embryo, Dime Scale and Simple Scale. We’ll be meeting at 9AM in the Woodsom Farm parking lot off Lions Mouth Road in Amesbury.
Hope to see you there tomorrow morning for the Fun Fly.
Also, please remember that we’ll be running a two day Contest at Woodsom on September 10,11. Check out the Contest Flyer and get your models ready for that meet!
See you on the flightline skyster!
Due to high winds, the 6/18/2022 meet at the Pony Express Field in Ipswich has been RESCHEDULED TO SATURDAY 6/25/2022. Same place (Pony Express, Ipswich), time (9AM start) and events (view the full Contest Flyer with Directions to the field HERE – note this flyer still carries the old date).
The weather is looking much better for the 25th and we hope to see you all there!
Fly on the largest grass sod field in the Northeast. This is one of the best FAC contests of the outdoor season with top competitors traveling from MA, CT, VA, NY, Ohio, No. Carolina, and more. Don’t miss this one!
View the full Contest Flyer and Directions to the field. The Days Inn in Middletown NY (Rt 17M) is a good place to stay. Several flyers will be camping on the field as well.
It’s worth the trip! There are lots of opportunities to fly this outdoor season.
See you on the flightline!

Mark the second Saturday in May on your calendars Skysters! Fly with the Stealth Squadroneers on the beautiful rolling fields of Woodsom Farm in Amesbury, MA.
After being cooped up all winter the gang is ready to get out and fly. Many new models will be shown and flown, so plan to be there!
Events are as posted on the flyer above.
Come out and join the fun even if you don’t have a model. We’ll help you learn more about stick and tissue free flight models and this rewarding hobby.
See you on the flightline!
