Pipit Closeup

This photo may be helpful for those of you still building, or yet to build your Pipit. This particular model carried a bit of noseweight which is unusual (and good) as these models tend to be noseheavy with a stock plastic prop. Liberal scraping of the plastic prop is allowed and advised to help balance the model without ballast. Also, be aware that the thin fuselage stick aft of the fin and before the sheet balsa stab can be a weak point. Tissue covering the motor stick here can help..
