Sam preps the BE2e for the WW1 Combat event
Assisted by mechanic John K., Sam B. packs the final few winds into his Royal Flying Corps (RFC) BE2e. Always a threat at Glastonbury (CT) indoor meets, the BE2 is an excellent outdoor flyer as well. It won the WW1 mass launch event at the August Woodsom meet, but couldn’t outfly Matt K’s SE5 at the September 12 meet.
